Rookie Aubin Assigned To Cyclones From Hamilton

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that rookie center Mathieu Aubin has been assigned to the team from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the Bulldogs of the AHL and the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fifth round (130th overall) by the Canadiens in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old has four points (2g-2a) and two penalty minutes in seven games with Hamilton.

The 6-foot-3 and 204-pound Aubin played the last three seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he had 190 points (85g-105a) and 121 penalty minutes in 188 regular season games and 11 points (4g-7a) and eight penalty minutes in 15 playoff games with Lewiston.
