Roussin Assigned From Manchester To Reading

READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that left wing Dany Roussin has been assigned from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.

The Royals are the ECHL affiliate of the Monarchs of the AHL and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the seventh round (223rd overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and in the second round (50th overall) by the Kings in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old has played three games for Manchester.

In his rookie season in 2005-06, the 6-foot-2 and 200-pound Roussin had 45 points (22g-23a) and 14 penalty minutes in 41 regular season games and one assist in one Kelly Cup Playoff game for the Royals while also playing for the Monarchs where he had six points (4g-2a) an 24 penalty minutes in 29 regular season games and two points (1g-1a) in three playoff games.
