READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that forward Mike Pandolfo has been loaned to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
Named In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week for October 21-23, the 26-year-old has a four-game goal-scoring streak (5g) and a five-game scoring streak (5g-4a) and he is tied for fourth in the league with nine goals and tied for 10th in scoring with 16 points. In addition to goals and points, he leads the Royals with four power-play goals, two game-winning goals and one shorthand goal in.
Selected in the third round (77th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1998 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Pandolfo played three games with Columbus of the NHL in 2003-04. The 6-foot-3 and 226-pound forward has spent the last three seasons with Syracuse of the American Hockey League where he scored 16 points (8g-8a) and had 18 penalty minutes in 62 games in 2004-05.
