Royals Sign Sproat
Barr, Werner Reassigned From Manchester

READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that they have signed rookie forward Dustin Sproat while defensemen Chris Barr and Eric Werner have been reassigned by Manchester of the American Hockey League.

The Royals also announced defenseman T.J. Kemp has been returned from Peoria of the AHL and that right wing John Morlang has been loaned to Lowell of the AHL.

The 6-foot and 190-pound Sproat led Princeton University in scoring with 35 points (18g-17a) in 31 games and was named team Most Valuable Player in 2004-05. In four seasons at Princeton, the 24-year-old had 57 points (28g-29a) in 91 games.
