Salmon Kings Acquire Krestanovich Brothers

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that they have traded the ECHL rights of right wing Adam Taylor and left wing David Wrigley to the Pensacola Ice Pilots in exchange for brothers Derek Krestanovich and Jordan Krestanovich.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the third round (92nd overall) by the Washington Capitals in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Derek has 11 points (3g-8a) and 46 penalty minutes in 14 games with Pensacola.

Selected in fifth round (152nd overall) by the Colorado Avalanche in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 25-year-old Jordan has eight points (3g-5a) and 18 penalty minutes in 14 games with Pensacola.
