Salmon Kings Participate In
Festival Of Trees

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that the organization will be participating in the 2005 Festival of Trees which is in its 14th year of raising money for the BC Children’s Hospital.

The organization will decorate a tree that will be displayed to the public from November 23-January 4 at the Fairmont Empress Hotel. The public will be able to vote for the Salmon Kings tree for a minimum donation of $2 and individuals are allowed to vote as many times as they like.

Salmon King fans will get the first look at the tree at the game on November 19 when the team hosts Idaho on “Festival of Trees: Practice Your Vote Night”. For a minimum donation of $2, fans can cast a practice vote with all monies collected at the game being donated to the BC Children’s Hospital at the Festival of Trees decorating gala on November 23. Every fan that casts a practice vote will be entered for the chance to win an autographed Salmon Kings jersey.
