Salmon Kings Sign Heintz, Allan

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced they have signed forwards Dustan Heintz and Derek Allan.

The 24-year-old Heintz spent his rookie season with Atlantic City scoring 17 points (6g-11a) and registering 80 penalty minutes in 59 games. The 6-0 and 185 pound native of Luseland, Saskatchewan spent two years with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in the Alberta College’s Athletic Conference after playing one year with Swift Current in the Western Hockey League in 1998-99.

The 6-1 and 200-pound Allen joins the Salmon Kings after spending 2004-05 in Germany with Miesbach in the German Oberliga league where he scored 31 points (20g-11a) in 36 games.
