Schaber scored six goals, assisted on two others and was a +5 last week, helping Bakersfield to a 4-0-0 record.
The 23-year-old tied the Condors’ club record with four goals, including the game-winner, in a 6-5 win at Las Vegas on Tuesday. After being held pointless in a 3-0 victory at Ontario on Friday, he notched an assist in a 2-1 win against Las Vegas on Saturday and scored a pair of goals, including another game-winner, in a 4-2 victory over the Wranglers on Sunday.
A native of Red Deer, Alberta, Schaber has 43 points (17g-26a) in 61 games with the Condors this season.
Schaber has posted 45 points (19g-26a) in 72 career regular-season games with Bakersfield and Idaho and has added 10 points (2g-8a) in 17 games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Prior to turning pro, he played five seasons with Calgary and Kamloops of the Western Hockey League and one season at the University of Lethbridge.
On behalf of Chase Schaber, a case of pucks will be donated to a Bakersfield youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 29,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
