Schell Called Up From Gwinnett To Wolves

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that center Brad Schell has been called up to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Wolves of the AHL and the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the sixth round (167th overall) by the Thrashers in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old has 29 points (12g-17a) in 28 games with the Gladiators.

He recorded his first professional hat trick in a 6-3 win against Toledo on Dec. 17 and tied the Gwinnett team record with four assists in a 7-4 win against Pensacola on Nov. 15.
