Sea Wolves Re-Sign Greenough

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced that they have re-signed right wing Nick Greenough.

The 24-year-old Greenough played for Augusta, Reading and Mississippi in 2004-05. He had 24 penalty minutes in five games with Augusta and three goals and 80 penalty minutes in 38 games with Reading before Mississippi acquired him in a trade.

He had eight points (5g-3a) and 74 penalty minutes in 13 regular season games and two points (1g-1a) and 11 penalty minutes in four Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Sea Wolves.

In his first full professional season in 2001-02, the 6-4 and 225-pound Greenough had 15 points (6g-9a) and 224 penalty minutes in 42 regular season games and two points (1g-1a) and 48 penalty minutes in seven Kelly Cup Playoff games with Mississippi. He also played in the American Hockey League in 2001-02, registering five penalty minutes in two games with Manitoba and 11 penalty minutes in two games with Providence.
