Sea Wolves Receive Duchesne, Zarb From Philadelphia

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced that the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League have reassigned goaltender Jeremy Duchesne and rookie defenseman Chris Zarb to Mississippi.

The Sea Wolves are the ECHL affiliate of the Phantoms of the AHL and the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fifth round (144th overall) by the Flyers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Zarb has played the last three years at Ferris State University where he had 41 points (2g-39a) and 130 penalty minutes in 79 games.

Selected in the fourth round (119th overall) by the Flyers in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Duchesne was 13-13-5 with a shutout, a goals-against average of 2.97 and a save percentage of .903 in 31 games for Dayton as a rookie in 2007-08. Duchesne, who will turn 22 on Friday, also played in the AHL where he was 1-0-0 with a goals-against average of 4.50 and a save percentage of .800 in two games.
