2011 ECHL All-Star Skills Competition Events

The following overview is based on the new format of the ECHL All-Star Skills Competition as a series of individual contests. Points will not be awarded to either team based on the Skills Event outcome, but rather individual winners will receive a crystal award at the end of the Game.

ECHL Skills Competition Positioning / Sponsors


Skill: Fastest Skater (4 players)
Each heat will have 1 skater skating individually around the ice. Fastest time wins.


Skill: Accuracy Shooting (4 players)
Each player shoots at four targets. Maximum of eight shots allowed per player. The player with the most targets hit wins.


Skill: King of the Shoot-Out (2 goalies, 5 shooters per goalie)
Each shooter takes one shot on the opposing goalie and clears the zone for the next player. If the goalies tie on saves, event will go into a “sudden death” format.


Skill: Hardest Shot (5 players)
Each player shoots two pucks. The player with the hardest shot wins.

Pre-Game Skills: 6:25 – 6:50 pm (Fastest Skater / Acc Shooting / Shoot-Out King)
