South Carolina Signs Forward Kelly

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that they have signed forward Paul Kelly.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

West Peabody, Mass. native had 53 points (26g-27a) and 64 penalty minutes in 62 regular season games with the Tulsa Oilers in the Central Hockey league in 2007-08.

The 6-foot-2 and 230-pounds Kelly had 89 points (42g-47a) and 106 penalty minutes in 144 regular season games and 20 points (10g-10a) and 38 penalty minutes in 22 Kelly Cup Playoff games with Dayton and Augusta from 2005-07.
