BOISE, Idaho – The owners of the Bank of America Centre and the Idaho Steelheads announced that they have hired Glenn Stanford as president to oversee the business operations of both organizations.
Stanford comes to Idaho after serving as general manager of the St. John’s Sports and Entertainment, Ltd. and as vice president of the St. John’s Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League.
Stanford has almost 20 years of experience in sports management, marketing and national entertainment events. His duties with St. John’s Sports and Entertainment encompassed business development of the St. John’s Maple Leafs, Mile One Stadium and the St. John’s Convention Centre.
He guided the St. John’s Maple Leafs in their 14-year existence in the AHL from 1991-2005 and was instrumental in building the Leafs into a model organization in the world of minor professional sports.
