Assigned to the K-Wings by the Wolves, Negrin is entering his fourth season of professional hockey. A former 3rd round (70th overall) selection of the Calgary Flames during the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Negrin has played in three NHL games, all with the Flames, earning an assist and two minutes in penalties. Spending a majority of his career in the AHL, Negrin split last season with the Abbortsford Heat and St. John’s IceCaps, where he recorded four assists in 40 games. The native of Vancouver, British Columbia also spent nine games last year in the ECHL with the Utah Grizzlies, where he produced six points (1 goal, 5 assists) in nine games. Prior to turning pro, Negrin notched 117 points (13 goals, 104 assists) in 235 career Western Hockey League games with the Kootenay Ice and Swift Current Broncos spanning five seasons (2004-09).
