Grimshaw skated in 51 games with the Stingrays last season scoring one goal and nine assists for 10 points. The Rochester, New York, native also appeared in two contests with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Moving into his third professional season, Grimshaw racked up 77 career ECHL games with the Stingrays and Trenton Titans recording 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) and appeared in 21 total AHL matchups with Rochester and the Toronto Marlies picking up one assist. Prior to turning pro, the 6-foot, 195-pound defenseman attended Harvard University for four seasons dressing in 121 contests and netting four goals and 22 assists for 26 points. During his senior season (2011-12), Grimshaw served as team captain.
