South Carolina Stingrays
The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native registered 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points in 61 regular-season games last season, added 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 27 Kelly Cup Playoff contests, helped the Stingrays reach the Kelly Cup Finals for the fourth time in team history, tying an ECHL record, and earned the 2014-15 Jerry Zucker Community Service Award for his dedication to the Charleston community.
A member of the Stingrays for the last two and a half seasons, Gaul totaled 67 points (28 goals, 39 assists) in 161 career games and earned a career-high 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) in 2013-14. Prior to turning pro, the 5-foot-8, 175-pound forward attended Notre Dame for four seasons picking up 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 80 games and helped the Fighting Irish capture a CCHA Championship in 2008-09.
