Steelheads add size with Bouvet-Morrissette

Boise, Idaho – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Andre Bouvet-Morrissette.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars and the American Hockey League’s Texas Stars.

The 6-foot-3, 24-year-old Bouvet-Morrissette averaged nearly a point-per-game and finished second on the team in plus/minus rating (+6) last season with the Evansville IceMen despite having his season cut short by injury. He finished seventh in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in goals during 2011-12, his final season of major-junior hockey, with 39 before turning pro. The Quebec native has also skated in 19 games in the American Hockey League with Milwaukee and Peoria.
