Boise, Idaho – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward James Livingston.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
The 24-year-old Livingston has appeared in 202 pro games, all of them in the American Hockey League for the Worcester Sharks and Manchester Monarchs. Between the Sharks and Monarchs last season, Livingston totaled a career-best eight goals and 23 points in 67 games.
Selected by the St. Louis Blues in the third round (70th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Livingston played five years of junior hockey with Sault Ste. Marie and Plymouth from 2006-11. The Halifax, Nova Scotia native posted 173 points (82g-91a) in 316 career OHL games.
