Steelheads Agree To Terms
With Shepheard, Wight

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Travis Wight and rookie forward Brent Shepheard.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League.

The 26-year-old Wight, who helped Idaho win the Kelly Cup in 2007, had seven assists and 27 penalty minutes in 38 games for the Steelheads in 2007-08 before suffering a season-ending injury in January.

The 25-year-old Shepheard had three points (1g-2a) and 16 penalty minutes in nine games for Idaho in 2007-08 before suffering a season-ending injury.
