Steelheads, Hornby Agree To Terms

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Greg Hornby.

In his first professional season in 2004-05, the 23-year-old had nine points (2g-7a) and 122 penalty minutes in 54 regular season games and six penalty minutes in seven Kelly Cup Playoff games.

The 5-11 and 220-pound Hornby played four seasons at Cornell University finishing with 32 points (14g-18a) and 224 penalty minutes in 108 career games. Following his senior year, he was awarded “The Cornell Hockey Association Award” presented to “the player the player whose contribution to the team is not apparent in the box scores. His efforts are more clearly measured in enthusiasm, dedication, desire, and unselfish willingness to give to the team an extra ounce of energy.”
