Boise, Idaho – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Colton Beck.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
The 24-year-old Beck finished second at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks in scoring as a senior, ranking third in his the WCHA and tied for 35th nationally with 39 points (14g-25a) while serving as the Nanooks’ captain. For his career, he’s one of just 31 players in UAF history to eclipse 100 career points (101). The Langley, British Columbia native made his professional debut last spring, appearing in three games for the St. John’s Ice Caps of the American Hockey League.
