Stepp Recalled From Lynx To Portland
Lynx Claim Collins Off Waivers

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that center Joel Stepp has been recalled to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League and that they have claimed goaltender Chad Collins off waivers from the Gwinnett Gladiators.

Selected in the third round (69th overall) by Anaheim in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Stepp has 28 points (9g-19a) in 28 games with Augusta and two points (1g-1a) in 11 games with Portland.

Collins, who is expected to join the team for its games at South Carolina on Friday and Saturday at Florida, is 4-4-2 with a goals against of 3.83 in 11 games with Toledo, Dayton and Gwinnett.
