Stingrays Agree To Terms
With Parsons, Olynick

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that they have agreed to terms with center Brad Parsons and defenseman Craig Olynick.

In his first season with South Carolina in 2004-05, the 6-0 and 200-pound Parsons scored 50 points (13g-37a) in 63 regular season games and four points (1g-3a) in four Kelly Cup Playoff games.

Acquired in a trade that sent Doug Andress to Toledo, the 22-year-old Olynick had 14 points (1g-13a) and 115 penalty minutes in 39 regular season games and one assist in four Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Stingrays. Selected in the seventh round (218th overall) by Los Angeles in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-1 and 198-pound Olynick had 59 penalty minutes in 12 games with Toledo before being traded.
