Stingrays’ McCaffrey Called Up To Bridgeport
Hershey Returns Reid To South Carolina

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that right wing Cam McCaffrey (pictured) has been called up to the American Hockey League by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

The Stingrays also announced that center Matt W. Reid has been returned to the team by the Hershey Bears of the AHL and is expected to be in the lineup for South Carolina for its game at Florida on Tuesday.

It is the first call up to the AHL for the 23-year-old McCaffrey who has 19 points (11g-8a) and 148 penalty minutes in 57 games with South Carolina.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and Hershey Bears of the AHL.
