With the win, South Carolina advances to the South Division Finals where it will meet the winner of the Florida/Orlando series. The Solar Bears lead that series 3 games to 2 with Game 6 in Florida on Tuesday.
Derek Arnold, John Parker, Patrick Gaul and Rob Flick scored goals in the series clincher for South Carolina while Parker Milner stopped all 26 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the series.
