NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays have announced that team president Taylor Lee has been asked to participate in the Honorary Commanders Program at Charleston Air Force Base.
The Honorary Commanders Program is designed to encourage an exchange of ideas, experiences and friendship between key members of the local civilian community and the Charleston military community. Members of the program are given the opportunity to ‘shadow’ commanders of squadrons and tenant units at Charleston Air Force Base.
“I am honored to be a part of this exciting program,” said Lee. “The Stingrays have had a great relationship with the military in our community for years, and this experience will help us gain a better appreciation for the United States Air Force and, in particular, the Charleston Air Force Base.”
