Stingrays Receive Stefanishon From Hershey, Sign Wilson

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that rookie right wing Matt Stefanishion has been assigned from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League and that they have signed rookie center Kyle Wilson.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Calder Cup champion Bears of the AHL and the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League.

The 23-year-old Stefanishion has not played a game this season because of injuries.

Selected in the ninth round (272nd overall) by the Minnesota Wild in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old Wilson has played seven games in the AHL with San Antonio where he had one goal.
