NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that they have signed rookie center Jamie Fraser and left wing Josh Anderson.
South Carolina is the ECHL affiliate of the Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League and the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League.
The 20-year-old Fraser signed with South Carolina on Apr. 4, after completing his season with Sarnia of the Ontario Hockey League, and scored a goal in three regular season games and two points (1g-1a) in six games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs with the Stingrays.
In his first professional season in 2005-06, the 24-year-old Anderson had 25 points (13g-12a) and 66 penalty minutes in 55 regular season games with Lubbock in the Central Hockey League.
