Stingrays Sign Rookie Haley

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays announced that they have signed rookie center Micheal Haley, who is expected to be in the lineup when the Stingrays play at Augusta on Thursday.

The 20-year-old played the last five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League where he had 126 points (69g-57a) and 558 penalty minutes in 276 regular season games and one assist and 13 penalty minutes in 10 playoff games with Sarnia and Toronto St. Michael’s from 2002-07.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.
