Storm All-Star Tardif Called Up To Grand Rapids

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Storm announced that All-Star rookie right wing Jamie Tardif has been called up to the American Hockey League by the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Toledo is the ECHL affiliate of the Griffins and the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL and the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fourth round (112th overall) by the Calgary Flames in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old Tardif has 30 points (10g-20a) and 37 penalty minutes in 33 games with Toledo and was selected to play in the ECHL All-Star Game. He has two points (1g-1a) in two games with Grand Rapids and has also played two games in the AHL with Iowa and one game with Manitoba.
