Storm Hires Drulia As Assistant Coach

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Storm announced that they have hired Stan Drulia as an assistant coach.

The Storm is the ECHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings and the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League.

Drulia, who was head coach of the Augusta Lynx each of the past two years, began his professional coaching career in 2002-03 as head coach and director of hockey operations with Orlando of the now defunct Atlantic Coast Hockey League. After leading Orlando to both the regular season and postseason championship, the 36-year-old Drulia was named interim assistant coach with San Antonio of the American Hockey League remaining with the team during the postseason.
