Tampa Bay Assigns Rookie Quick To Lynx

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie defenseman Kevin Quick from Norfolk of the American Hockey League to Augusta.

The Lynx are the ECHL affiliate of Tampa Bay of the NHL and Norfolk of the AHL.

Selected in the third round (78th overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Quick had four assists and six penalty minutes in 18 games for Norfolk in 2007-08 while also playing for the University of Michigan where he had four points (2g-2a) and 12 penalty minutes in 21 games.

It was also announced that left wing Travis Fuller, who attended training camp with Bridgeport of the AHL; forwards Michael Mullen, who attended training camp with Toronto of the AHL; and forward Joe Rookie, who attended training camp with Providence, have joined the Lynx.
