Tampa Bay Reassigns Coleman From Johnstown To Springfield

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League have reassigned goaltender Gerald Coleman to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

The Chiefs are the ECHL affiliate of the Lightning of the NHL and the Falcons of the AHL.

Selected in the seventh round (224th overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft and under NHL contract to the Lightning, the 21-year-old is 7-9-0 with a goals-against average of 3.41 and a save percentage of .902 in 17 games with Johnstown and 1-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.00 and a save percentage of .973 in one game with Springfield.
