Tampa Bay Reassigns Rookie Helenius To Lynx

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League have reassigned rookie goaltender Riku Helenius from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League to Augusta.

The Lynx are the ECHL affiliate of the Lightning of the NHL and the Admirals of the AHL.

Selected in the first round (15th overall) by Tampa Bay in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, the 20 year old played in the Western Hockey League in 2007-08 and was 22-12-6 with three shutouts, a goals-against average of 2.42 and a save percentage of .915 in 41 games for Seattle.
