Texas Acquires Johnson From Stingrays

BEAUMONT, Texas – The Texas Wildcatters announced that they have acquired defenseman Trevor G. Johnson as part of a three-team trade involving South Carolina and Victoria.

The Wildcatters traded the rights to defensemen Simon Mangos and Aaron MacInnis to the Victoria Salmon Kings for center Ryan Finnerty, who was then traded to South Carolina in exchange for Johnson.

In his second professional season in 2004-05, the 5-foot-10 and 177-pound Johnson scored 24 points (5g-19a) in 38 regular season games and had one assist in three Kelly Cup Playoff games with South Carolina and 10 points (3g-7a) in 21 games with Peoria while also playing three games in the American Hockey League with Hershey.
