Texas’ Dickenson Recalled To San Antonio

BEAUMONT, Texas – The Texas Wildcatters announced that center Lou Dickenson has been recalled to San Antonio of the American Hockey League. Dickenson is expected to be in the lineup on Thursday when the Rampage hosts Utah. Texas is the ECHL affiliate of San Antonio of the AHL and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fourth round (113th overall) by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to San Antonio, Dickenson is tied for the Texas team lead with 10 assists while ranking third on the team in scoring with 14 points (4g-10a) in 13 games.

In his first professional season, the 6-2 and 202-pound Dickenson has four penalty minutes in nine games with San Antonio.
