Thunder Agrees To Terms
With Parrish, Campbell

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Geno Parrish and left wing Derek Campbell and that the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League have assigned right wing Dominic Soucy to the team.

The 30-year-old Parrish joins the Thunder after originally signing with the Texas Wildcatters, who were forced to suspend operations for 2005-06 in the aftermath of Hurricane Rita. Parrish was selected to the ECHL All-Star Game and had 43 points (5g-38a) and 85 penalty minutes in 72 regular season games and three assists in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games with Greensboro in 2002-03. He returned to Greensboro in 2003-04 and had career highs with 11 goals, 55 assists and ranked third on the team with 66 points in 72 regular season games and teamed with new Texas teammates Mike Bayrack and Matt Turek to score 186 points (67g-119a).

The 25-year-old Campbell, who attended training camp with Houston of the AHL, had five penalty minutes in three games with Binghamton and 18 points (4g-14a) and 228 penalty minutes in 58 games with Elmira of the United Hockey League in 2004-05.
