Thunder, Saunders Agree To Terms

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Nathan Saunders.

The Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the fourth round (119th overall) by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 23 year old had six points (1g-5a) and 79 penalty minutes in 31 regular season games and two assists and 16 penalty minutes in six Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Johnstown Chiefs in 2007-08. He also played in the AHL where he had one goal and 21 penalty minutes in 13 games with Providence.
