STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that they have signed defenseman Dave McCulloch and left wing Mike Lalonde.
In his first professional season in 2004-05, the 23-year-old McCulloch had 55 penalty minutes and six points (2g-4a) in 40 games with the Gwinnett Gladiators and 34 penalty minutes and nine points (2g-7a) in 29 games with the Louisiana IceGators.
The 6-0 and 190-pound McCulloch played four seasons at Harvard University, accumulating 260 penalty minutes and 25 points (5g-20a) in 114 career games.
Lalonde joined Las Vegas in the ECHL after completing his college season in 2004-05, registering one assist and two penalty minutes in five games with Wranglers.
In four years at Michigan State, the 5-11 and 190-pound Lalonde scored 102 points (50g-52a) in 156 games, including 40 points (22g-18a) in 42 games as a junior in 2003-04.
