Trenton’s Johnson Signs With Bridgeport

TRENTON, N.J. – The Trenton Titans announced that forward Gregg Johnson has signed a professional tryout agreement with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League and that All-Star rookie defenseman John Laliberte has signed a professional tryout agreement with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL.

Selected in the eighth round (256th overall) by the Ottawa Senators in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Johnson has 31 points (12g-19a) in 26 games with Trenton and three points (1g-2a) in 11 games with Norfolk of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (114th overall) by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Laliberte has 27 points (14g-13a) in 30 games with Trenton and one assist in nine games with Worcester of the AHL.

The Titans are the ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils and the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lowell Devils and the Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL.
