Toronto Assigns Fulghum To Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that they have been assigned rookie center Luke Fulghum by the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.

The Ice Pilots are the ECHL affiliate of the Maple Leafs and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

The 25-year-old Fulghum helped the University of Denver win back-to-back national championships scoring 39 points (21g-18a) in 41 games as a senior in 2004-05 and 23 points (14g-9a) in 43 games as a junior.

After completing his college season he played two games in the AHL with St. John’s registering one assist.
