Tremblay Recalled From Toledo To Cleveland

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Storm announced that right wing Jonathan Tremblay has been recalled to the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League.

The Storm is the ECHL affiliate of the Barons and the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL and the San Jose Sharks and the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League.

Under contract to the San Jose Sharks and assigned to Toledo on October 25, Tremblay has played in one game for the Storm.

In his first professional season in 2004-05, the 21-year-old Tremblay had five points (2g-3a) and 136 penalty minutes in 46 games with Johnstown and also played one game with Cleveland in the AHL. Selected by San Jose in the seventh round (201st overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-3 and 245-pound Tremblay played the past two seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, accumulating 548 penalty minutes and four points (3g-1a) in 122 regular season games.
