Turner reassigned to Gladiators

Defenseman Brennan Turner was reassigned to the Gwinnett Gladiators from AHL Binghamton on Friday. He will be available for Friday night’s game in Trenton.

 

Turner, 24, racked up five penalty minutes in four games for Binghampton since his call-up on Feb. 11. In four games with Gwinnett this season Turner has two assists and eight penalty minutes. The Winnipeg, Manitoba, native was acquired by the Gladiators from the Elmira Jackals in exchange for defenseman Drew Paris on Jan. 25.

 

Turner skated with the Gladiators during the 2008-09 season. He recorded 14 points (1g-13a) with the Gladiators and added an assist in five Kelly Cup Playoff Games. Turner also earned four points (2g-2a) in 29 points with the Fresno Falcons before being re-assigned by the Chicago Blackhawks from Fresno to Gwinnett. Turner also skated in three games with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League during the 2008-09 season.
