Verbeek Returns To Nailers

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that right wing Tim Verbeek has been returned from the American Hockey League by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

The Nailers are the ECHL affiliate of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL and the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League.

Recalled to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on November 10, the 26-year-old had one assist, four penalty minutes and a plus-minus rating of +1 in four games with the Penguins.

The 6-foot and 195-pound Verbeek has three points (2g-1a) and seven penalty minutes in four games with the Nailers.
