Victoria Signs Defenseman Dameworth

Victoria, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that they have signed defenseman Chad Dameworth.

Selected in the 1994 National Hockey League Supplemental Draft by Edmonton, the 6-2 and 215-pound veteran has played 292 games in the ECHL scoring 52 points (7g-45a). He has spent time with Wheeling, Johnstown, Mississippi, New Orleans and most recently with Atlantic City in 2003-04, where he played 19 games, registering one assist.

A native of Marquette, Mich., Dameworth has spent six seasons in the American Hockey League and the 2004-05 season with Port Huron of the United Hockey League scoring 17 points (5g-12a) in 79 games.
