Walleye Acquire Lepine From Condors

Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that the team has acquired defenseman Jason Lepine from the Bakersfield Condors for future considerations.

 

The Walleye are the ECHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League and the Rockford Ice Hogs and Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.

 

Lepine comes to Toledo after appearing in 21 games this season with the Condors.  The 25 year old defenseman posted two goals and 12 assists with Bakersfield. The native of Cornwall, Ontario has skated in 192 games as a professional after making his professional debut with Corpus Christi in the CHL (2006-07). Jason has skated in six games in the AHL with Peoria, Albany, and Rockford. He has collected 26 professional goals and 76 assists.
