Wildcatters’ Proulx Named In Glas Co Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Texas Wildcatters center Olivier Proulx is the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week for Nov. 20-26, 2006.

In his fourth professional season, the 24-year-old had eight points (4g-4a) and a plus-minus rating of +5 while helping the Wildcatters go 4-0-0 on the road to move into first place in the South Division and the American Conference with 24 points and an 11-2-2 record.

Proulx scored a goal in each of the four games to increase his goal-scoring streak to seven games (7g) which is the longest streak in the ECHL since 2005 when Brian McCullough of Peoria scored a goal in seven straight games (7g) from Feb. 18-Mar. 6. The 5-foot-9 and 188-pound Proulx scored three points (1g-2a) and assisted on the game-winning goal in each of his last two games, a 5-4 win at South Carolina on Saturday and in a 5-2 win at Augusta on Sunday.
