Wildcatters Sign ECHL All-Star Parrish

BEAUMONT, Texas – The Texas Wildcatters announced that they have signed veteran and former ECHL All-Star defenseman Geno Parrish.

Parrish was selected to the All-Star Game and had 43 points (5g-38a) and 85 penalty minutes in 72 regular season games and three assists in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games with Greensboro in 2002-03. He returned to Greensboro in 2003-04 and had career highs with 11 goals, 55 assists and ranked third on the team with 66 points in 72 regular season games and teamed with new Texas teammates Mike Bayrack and Matt Turek to score 186 points (67g-119a).

The 30-year-old scored 29 points (4g-25a) in 41 games with Freiburg EHC in Germany before joining Danbury of the United Hockey League where he had 13 points (1g-12a) in 21 regular season games and five points (2g-3a) in 11 playoff games.
