Wildcatters’ Snowden Named CCM TACKS ECHL Player Of The Month

PRINCETON, N.J. – Texas right wing John Snowden is the CCM TACKS ECHL Player of the Month for April.

Snowden scored 10 goals, five power-play goals, two game-winning goals and 14 points in six games in April.
After scoring two points (1g-1a) in a 6-5 loss to Pensacola on April 1, the 23-year-old Snowden scored four goals and had an assist in an 8-0 win against Louisiana on April 2. He scored five points (3g-2a) again on April 8 in an 8-4 win against Louisiana and ended the season with two goals at Louisiana on April 9. He scored 17 goals in his last 13 games and had multiple-point games in eight of the Wildcatters’ last 16 games. For the season he had eight multiple-goal games and 14 multiple-point games.

Snowden ranked third in the ECHL with a career high and team record 37 goals. He had a team-leading 18 power-play goals and 62 points and was second on the team with 25 assists in 71 games.
